Hastings Valley Netball Association is proud to host a wide variety of netball competition, from competitive to social!

Saturday Competition

Children and Adults aged from 10 to Opens play on a Saturday. Our 7 local clubs are proud to field a wide host of teams this year. Our Opens Women's competition is building and has a great depth of talent, with our Division 1 including our representative opens players all the way through to our Social Ladies, mums and people returning to netball after a few years away!

Monday Night Competition

We host a Women's competition on a Monday night. Again we have a ride variety of skills in our divisions, ranging from our Division 1 Competitive all the way to our social Division 4.

Wednesday Night Mixed Social Competition

On a Wednesday night we host a mixed social competition. Boys from 13 years and up and Girls from 14 years are invited to play with their friends, family and work mates. This is a great fun environment for all involved!

Net Skills Program

For our children from 5yrs to 7yrs we encourage they participate in our Net Skills Program. This is a 10 week program run on a Saturday morning. We explore through lots of fun, the basics and fundamental movement and skills involved in Netball. This is such an important stepping stone in our kids' development and really grows their love for netball!

Set & Go Games

The next step for our 8 & 9 years olds after finishing the Net Skills Program, is to join a team and start playing a modified version of Netball. Set is the first step, where our coaches are on the court with the players, helping them move around and learn the game in real time. Go is the final step for our kids before they jump into 'big netball'. We still have modified rules, but our coaches are on the sideline now and the players are encouraged to make more decisions for themselves and play as a team. All our Set & Go games are non-competitive and we dont keep scores. We
